The Excellence Class is now coupled. The popular Swiss tourist train, the Glacier Express, arrives in Japan with its latest specifications.
▪️ The popular classic product now features the luxurious new Excellence Class passenger car, arriving in a new specification. The actual train traverses the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, slowly covering the 8-hour journey from Zermatt to St. Moritz across two railway companies: the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. It is popular as a panoramic sightseeing train offering magnificent views of the Alps from its windows. In 2019, the “Excellence Class,” a tier above First Class, debuted, bringing changes to the existing passenger cars. ◆This product features a formation incorporating the luxurious new “Excellence Class” passenger cars introduced in 2019. Some interior details and seat colors in the conventional 1st and 2nd class cars have also been updated, offering a lineup that reflects the current Glacier Express experience. The Ge4/4-III locomotive is also reproduced with its updated exterior appearance.
