Product Introduction
A plastic model assembly kit for a four-wheel drive racer offering high-performance driving and enjoyable racing. The DCR-01 (Decross-01) is a Mini 4WD PRO machine adopting a new concept. The deep pearl red body was designed by Takayuki Yamazaki, creator of the RC buggy “Dual Ridge”. Featuring a long front and rear canopy and a low-profile, futuristic body, it consists of three sections: front cowl, rear cowl, and canopy. The removable canopy allows you to enjoy both open and closed body configurations. Furthermore, combining it with separately sold body sets in different colors enables easy color coordination. Metal-tone stickers are included. MA stands for Midship AERO. The “MS Chassis” features a midship layout with a double-shaft motor mounted centrally, while the “AR Chassis” is specifically designed with aerodynamics (airflow) in mind during running. The “MA Chassis” combines the best features of both into a single chassis. The chassis body and A-parts are finished in white to accentuate vibrant body colors. Furthermore, it features silver 6-spoke wheels with spokes refined to extreme thinness, fitted with large-diameter low-profile tires. Naturally, leveraging accumulated racing know-how, driving performance has been thoroughly refined, including standard equipment like 6 low-friction resin rollers and a rear skid bar. Furthermore, the adoption of an integrated monocoque structure further improves ease of assembly and maintenance. This makes it a versatile chassis suitable for everyone from beginners to veteran racers, and for a wide range of events—from street corner races on smaller courses to official competitions on large, specially built 5-lane circuits. The gear ratio is set at 4:1.
