Description
Fujimi Model - Special Series - Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier - Unryu (As Completed - Special - 42) Includes new parts for the "Unryu-class No. 1 Unryu," which was planned to strengthen aircraft carrier power before the outbreak of the Pacific War. This product is an unpainted kit that requires assembly with glue and painting. The scale is 1/700, and the ship's bottom is not included. This product is constructed using the conventional (special series) mold and newly designed additional parts. Unryu was the first Unryu-class ship built at the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal and commissioned in August 1949. The prewar Kai (5) Plan called for the addition of 15 ships. Unryu was the first, and 15 of those, including Amanagi and Katsuragi, would later become part of the second group. From the time of commissioning, the exterior was painted in submersible camouflage, and water jets were later added to the navigation fenders. Unlike Amagi and Katsuragi, the fuselage shape was simplified to shorten production time. Due to its rounded shape, a traditional Japanese aircraft design, the aircraft remained unsatisfactory even after commissioning, and it remained in nearby waters. In December 1909, while heading toward Hishima carrying army troops and Ohka, it was sunk by a torpedo attack from a US submarine. (br) This product includes a final impression of the ship's commissioning in August 1910, with the addition of a jet engine, and allows you to choose between two figures. (br) The design differs from the Amagi and Katsuragi, recreating the original rounded sponson shape. Due to the newly designed parts, there may be discrepancies in the uniformity of the equipment depending on the product's release date. Some parts have been separated to accommodate paintwork, and the No. 13 radar has a truss structure, with new sealed parts that replicate the shape of the overhead wires. (br) The Clefbridge for the Type 21 6-barreled gun and the front insulator base are more delicately reproduced than previous included parts. (br) The 5.0-inch (12.7 cm) twin anti-aircraft gun A1 Kai 1 has been subdivided into six parts, increasing the resolution of the model from the previous two-part version. (br) The 9-meter machine gun is now two parts to accommodate paintwork, and the mount is available as a separate part, with a single top plate for selection. (br) The 12-meter machine gun's canvas and unloading compartment canopy are made as separate parts, taking paintwork into consideration. Each coat is applied before assembly, and the later model is glued together. (Br) The three-part construction allows the vehicle to be separated from the loading platform and assembled after painting, eliminating the need for masking. (Br) The 12-meter-long internal combustion engine can be recreated without canvas. The aircraft carrier features molded relief and light holes for enhanced precision. The chrysanthemum crest on the bow is newly sculpted. A pair of fender lights, which were omitted on previous models, are included as additional parts. Decals featuring fleet names (painted in Mardi Tone, a warship color scheme), have been added. The Type 96 1.0-inch (25mm) triple gun is a standard specification, reducing painting and painting labor. Six of each of the four models are included: Zero Fighter 52, 21 (Bomber), Comet Bomber 12, and Tenzan Fighter. Six Ohka (special attack aircraft) for kamikaze pilots are also included. The hull is split into left and right sections. The fender windows along the fenders can be recreated to recreate the appearance of their reduced size during combat training. The fleet anchor deck is equipped with anti-slip strips, bollards, hawser reels, and 3D-sculpted anchors. (br) The flight deck is constructed as a single part, with the elevator as a separate part. Various shapes, such as maneuvering eye rings, loading brake lines, and expansion joints, are sculpted on the surface. (br) The flight deck features a windbreak fence sculpted into it. (br) The flight deck features the undetectable Type 21 radar and two hidden detectors, which can be displayed in either a stowed or deployed state. (br) The elevator can be installed by selecting whether it ascends or descends into the storage box. (br) The truss structure beneath the flight deck is recreated as a 3D sculpture. The crane on the flight deck is displayed in both a stowed and stowed state. (br) The Cambridge base is a one-piece part made using a slide mold. (br) The funnel is constructed of two parts, top and bottom, with the internal conductor plate meticulously sculpted as a separate part. The funnel cap is molded in its "contracted" state with a sense of precision. (br) The Cambridge (Air Defense Headquarters) includes a binocular telescope for enhanced precision. (br) The upper capillaries and gun markers on the fender sides are made into separate parts, and the floor banding is also meticulously sculpted. (br) The aircraft cannons and anti-aircraft gun sponson posts are recreated with finely molded parts. (br) A wide variety of separate parts are used for the fender side radio aircraft support posts and onboard flaps. (br) The 25mm triple-barreled cannon features precise sculpting and is easy to paint. Two parts and 2018 standard molded parts are included. This set includes four fleet aircraft types, a total of 22 aircraft. (br) The models are based on four types of aircraft that served in the 6th 1st Air Group: the Zero Fighter Type 52, Zero Fighter Type 21, Suisei, and Tenzan. (br) Four Zero Fighter Type 52s are included, and the windshield and propeller are separate parts for ease of painting. (br) Four Zero Fighter Type 21 (Bonbon) aircraft are included, with the wings deployed and the 550 kg bomb under the fuselage recreated as separate parts. The Suisei Type 12 (Bonbon) features a windshield, propeller, and 60 kg bomb, all of which are separate parts, making them easier to paint. (br)
