Description
KanNEXT Series-No-12-EX-201-Imperial Japanese Navy Battleship-With Etching Parts
The KanColle NEXT Series “Imperial Japanese Navy Battleship Musashi (Pre-Modification)” includes etching parts. The battleship Yamato, symbolizing the Imperial Japanese Navy, was equipped with world-renowned 46cm guns. The second ship, Musashi, was launched in August 1914. In October, during the developing conflict with the Solomon Islands, Musashi took the lead. On the night of the launch, the first ship Yamato and the second ship Musashi proudly stood side by side. In June 1905, they became the flagships of the Combined Fleet, and the Shogun's flag was lowered. Later, to strengthen their anti-aircraft armor, they removed secondary guns aligned with the bulwarks and participated in the Battle of the Philippine Sea and the Battle of the Surigao Strait. The product features a snap-fit design requiring no glue. Key areas are reproduced with color-separated plastic parts, while some painted sections use realistic decals with excellent surface-following properties. Assembly is entirely snap-fit, with parts divided by waterline to allow reproduction of both the open-hull and full-hull types. The product features specifications to recreate two distinct seasons: the pre-Type 21 radar model (August to September 1942) and the post-Type 21 radar model, depicting her sortie with the Yamato at Truk Island and her service as the Imperial Emperor's flagship and flagship of the Imperial Japanese Navy fleet (September 1942 to April 1944). The Cambridge top is reproduced in a white molded color representing the local area. The wooden deck parts are molded in beige, differing from the initial black color. The included decals feature the Imperial Flag and Admiral's Flag, allowing reproduction of the Shōwa Emperor's First Kōga and Kōga configurations. It includes etching parts, difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts, enabling detailed representation. Etching parts include handrails, Type 21 radar, ladders, and more. This product is manufactured in Japan. This product is a plastic model kit requiring assembly.
