Product Description
GSI Creos “Mr. Mark Setter 40ml” is a model decal softener.
This softener softens the base film of decals, allowing them to adhere perfectly to uneven surfaces and curves. Apply a small amount to the area where the decal will be placed beforehand. After about 2 minutes, gently press the decal into place with a cloth or similar material.
Mr. Mark Setter is a decal softener.
It allows stiff decals to conform to rough surfaces and curved areas.
Containing an adhesive agent, it provides stronger decal conforming power than Mr. Mark Softer.
It is also effective for old decals that have lost their adhesion.
First, use the brush attached to the cap to apply a small amount to the area where the decal will be placed, then apply the decal over the coated area.
It is possible to apply it over a decal already attached, but be careful not to apply too much as it softens the decal rapidly.
Additionally, since it is water-soluble, adding water as needed can also prevent rapid softening.
After applying the decal, gently press it down using Mr. Cotton Swabs, Mr. Clean Stick 2, or a lint-free cloth to ensure the decal conforms tightly to the part's surface.
Wipe away any excess Mr. Mark Softer at this stage to prevent over-softening.
If air bubbles form between the decal and part (silvering), carefully pierce the decal with a needle or design knife after it dries.
Reapplying Mr. Mark Softer will re-soften the decal, eliminating bubbles and ensuring it adheres firmly to the part surface.
To prevent silvering, finishing the base surface with a gloss coat is recommended.
Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
Contains organic solvents; ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
When spraying paint, take care to avoid contact with people or objects.
Wear a mask and gloves during handling to minimize skin contact.
If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with soap and water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If you feel unwell, rest in a well-ventilated area.
