◎The griddle surface is coated with lacquer to prevent rust.
Before using a new product for the first time, please remove the lacquer coating using the method below.
1. Use a sturdy, stable barbecue stove or a safe location (such as a base made of bricks or stones) to light charcoal, briquettes, or other fuel.
2. Once the heat is stable, place the griddle on the barbecue stove (base) and lightly coat the entire surface of the griddle with cooking oil.
3 Add vegetable scraps and stir-fry well, or gradually heat the griddle empty until smoke appears, using metal cooking utensils (spatula, Turner, scraper, etc.) to scrape off the lacquer coating on the surface.
The lacquer coating on the back side will gradually burn off with heating, so it does not need to be removed.
4 Remove the griddle from the heat and allow it to cool naturally. Wash it thoroughly with a steel wool pad or metal brush while pouring water over it. *If lacquer coating remains on the griddle surface, repeat the process from step 2. *(Care and Storage)
