The design features beautiful cherry blossoms alongside Mount Fuji tinged with the pink hues of cherry blossoms. The “sky” and “ground” sections of the hanging scroll use Nishiki, a traditional Japanese textile. Nishiki is a general term for highly intricate, luxurious fabrics woven with multicolored threads to create complex patterns. Among ancient silk textiles, Nishiki is said to be the most expensive. *A bead loom (sold separately) is required to complete this kit.
