Sweet - Type 1 Fighter - 1st Fighter Squadron - Vietnam's Hayabusa - 14146

Product Description
Six months after the war began, mass production of the “Hayabusa Model 1” at Nakajima Aircraft Company was fully underway. Consequently, fighter squadrons transitioned from the 97-type fighters to the new “Hayabusa Model 1.”
The 1st Squadron, proud of its tradition as the Japanese Army's first fighter unit and its glorious combat record at the Nomonhan Incident, completed its conversion to the Hayabusa Model 1 in July 1942 and once again deployed to the Malayan theater.
At this time, the command aircraft of each fighter squadron commander bore extremely flashy paint schemes to make them stand out more prominently in the air. The beloved aircraft of Squadron Leader Takeda Kinshiro, commander of the 1st Squadron at Hanoi Air Base in Vietnam, was particularly famous for its colorful design. The 1st Squadron deployed to Rabaul in January 1943. They fought valiantly against the superior Allied aircraft at Rabaul/New Guinea.
The kit is a 1/144 scale Hayabusa Type 1.
Each box contains two aircraft. Enjoy detailed molded parts based on the latest research and precise snap-fit assembly that ensures even beginners can build with confidence.
The decals are by Italian company Cartograph and include markings for nine aircraft, including Takeda's squadron leader plane.
The box art by Yukihisa Fujita depicts Squadron Leader Takeda's aircraft at Hanoi Air Base in Vietnam, featuring NASA-chan in an ao dai and local street vendor cats. It's a delightful scene with airmen happily munching on watermelon.
※ The NASA-chan figure on the box comes in two ao dai color variations (Pink Ver. / White Ver.), and you will receive one randomly.
※This product is a plastic model kit requiring assembly and painting.
※Additional items such as adhesive, tools, and paint are required for assembly and painting.
※“Plastic Model” is a registered trademark owned by the Japan Plastic Model Manufacturers Association.
