Collect one Kuha set, two Moha sets, one Sah 208 car, and three Sah 209 cars to enjoy the full 10-car late-period formation.
Combine with separately sold leading car sets and intermediate car sets for enjoyment. Decals including destination direction signs are included. ※This kit cannot run on its own. For running capability, we recommend the following additional items: Tenshodo No.05002 Coreless Power Track 26P (φ10.5 plate wheels) and Tenshodo No.69001T-Evolution Running Parts Kit.

The next-generation energy-saving “209 Series Commuter Train,” representative of the 1990s in the Tokyo metropolitan area, is now available as a plastic kit in the ‘Plakit-Extra’ series. The ‘Plakit-Extra’ series maintains the impact and quality of 1/80 scale while adopting a user-friendly concept: ‘simplified painting, reduced assembly, and easy motor installation’.
One characteristic of stainless steel rolling stock, the ‘line color’ separation, is achieved using separate colored parts, ensuring an authentic appearance without painting. For the Sah 209, the modified sash windows with opening capability are reproduced using two-color molded parts. The clean underfloor equipment layout characteristic of trailing cars and the omitted gangway doors, true to the real vehicle, are expressed through an easy-to-assemble part configuration.
The Sah 208 features the distinctive six-door configuration on one side, designed for the intensifying commuter rush in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The windows between doors also reproduce the difference between fixed and opening windows. The Saha 208's air conditioner is the completely new molded AU722A. The bogies feature wavy wheels that look great on display. Using Tenshodo running gear parts allows for running as 16mm gauge (HO gauge).
