▪️Care After Use
・After use, soak the brush in water up to the point where ink remains. Gently remove excess ink using slightly dampened scrap paper. This method leaves a slight residue, but it's necessary to remove the ink carefully to preserve the tip's shape and maintain its responsiveness.
・If the brush dries with ink still on the bristles, the tip may be difficult to loosen for the next use. In such cases, apply solid soap to your hands and gently knead the tip to loosen it. However, since bristles are sensitive to alkaline substances like soap, it's best to wash brushes with water under normal circumstances. ・Discard the protective cap that comes on the tip when you purchase the brush after applying ink to the tip for the first time. If you put the protective cap back on after washing the brush, moisture cannot escape, which can cause decay. The cap can also pinch the hairs and damage the tip. ・When storing brushes long-term, it is necessary to place mothballs or similar insect repellents with them. Air-dry the brush once or twice a year. This is especially important during humid rainy seasons when mold can grow, making this period an ideal time for airing.
