This is the Wave “Silicone Rubber Mold Use Hold & Guide Dowel Pin L/Orange” tool.
It is an embedded dowel pin for silicone rubber molds used in part replication.
Embedding it in a two-part mold creates a sturdy dowel that minimizes mold misalignment. The Hold type is a handy tool that also assists with mold clamping. When properly positioned inside the silicone mold, light clamping with rubber bands or similar provides just the right amount of pressure. The Guide type comes in a set of three shapes (oval/cross/hexagon). Their unique shapes allow selection based on the direction where mold misalignment needs to be prevented.
Made of ABS plastic, these pins can be reused repeatedly after removal from silicone molds.
