Wave - Silicone Rubber Mold Guide Dowel Pins - Hobby Tools - CS-023
This is the Wave “Silicone Rubber Mold Hold & Guide Dowel Pins S/Orange” tool.
These are embedded dowel pins for silicone rubber molds used in part replication.
Embedding them in a two-part mold creates sturdy dowels that minimize mold misalignment. The Hold Type is a handy tool that also assists with mold clamping. When properly positioned inside the silicone mold, light clamping with rubber bands or similar provides just the right amount of pressure. The Guide Type comes in a set of three shapes (oval/cross/hexagon). Their unique shapes allow selection based on the direction where mold misalignment needs prevention.
Made of ABS plastic, these pins can be reused repeatedly after removal from silicone molds.
