Product Description
After annexing Czechoslovakia in 1939, Germany formally adopted the Czech-made LTvz 38 light tank as the 38(t) light tank for its own forces. Featuring a riveted hull and turret, armed with a 3.7cm tank gun, and possessing excellent mobility, the 38(t) saw action in early Blitzkrieg campaigns. It underwent subsequent improvements, evolving through variants up to the G model, with over 1,400 vehicles produced in total. Among these, the E/F models, featuring added armor plates for enhanced protection, were deployed in large numbers during the early stages of the German-Soviet War starting in June 1941, forming a key part of German tank forces.
