The 1/350 Shōkaku arrives in a limited production run, complete with crew figures that add movement and flair to your display. Commissioned in August 1941, the Shōkaku formed the 5th Air Fleet alongside her sister ship, the Zuikaku. It fought fiercely in the Battle of the Coral Sea, the Second Battle of the Solomon Islands off Guadalcanal, and the Battle of the South Pacific, participating in numerous operations including the Battle of the Philippine Sea and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Crafted with the detailed sculpting only possible at this large 1/350 scale. Includes pre-cut paper decals for signal flags, naval ensigns, and commander's flags. Includes ship name decals for display decoration. Includes 353 figure parts (2 types/5 runners total) for officers, sailors, and sailors in work uniforms (summer/winter). Parts are unpainted, allowing reproduction of both summer and winter uniforms through painting.
