Product Introduction
The 10000 Series 6-car set (unpainted kit) is now available, allowing you to recreate the current appearance featuring the new symbol mark.
The first formation commenced revenue service in July 2014.
Based on the 2000 Series, the body employs a hybrid structure combining double-skin and single-skin panels for weight reduction. The paint scheme features “Sky Blue, Blue, and Green” inspired by “sky, sea, and greenery,” giving it a completely refreshed look.
As of 2020, seven 6-car formations are in active service.
This product is a 1/150 scale N gauge display model.
Major assemblies use a press-fit system requiring no adhesive. This is an unpainted kit requiring painting.
The product features a 6-car formation, replicating the full train configuration in one package.
Compared to the previous 1000 series product, it maintains exterior accuracy for components like bogies and seats while reducing the number of parts for easier assembly.
The body is a single box-shaped part molded in a slide mold. Molded color is gray.
Side window frames are represented by raised molding on the transparent window parts.
Roof beads and air conditioner mesh feature finely detailed engraving.
Headlights/tail lights/LED lights feature finely detailed reproduction of the light-emitting surface's contours.
The light lens covers are separate clear-molded parts.
The bogies are split into two parts (left/right) while maintaining the shape of the mounted motors and tires.
The bogies are differentiated for front/intermediate cars (T/M bogies), and further variations are reproduced: front cars feature ATC/TD antennas, while end-facing sides lack antennas.
Eliminating the complex part division of the bogies freed up space, which was utilized for accurate reproduction of the interior floor surface and seating.
Included decals are specific to the unpainted 10000 series kit.
Decals include both old and new symbol marks, allowing construction of both the current appearance and the pre-2018 version.
Side bands are included as decals.
The specification allows reproduction using either paint or decals.
Destination displays and cab window sunshades are represented by applying included stickers from the interior side.
