By using different materials for the bezel section and creating a two-layer structure, a new shock-resistant construction is achieved. Resin is used on the upper bezel section, combined with fine resin on the lower section, creating a newly developed shock-resistant structure that cushions impacts from above. This expands the design possibilities. It features Multi-Band 6 for reception from 6 stations worldwide and Tough Solar. It also includes a needle retract function that temporarily moves the hour and minute hands away from their current position with a single push, allowing the LCD display to be read, and a double LED light that brightly illuminates the dial.
