Recreating the era when both steam turbine and gas turbine ships were deployed.
Features newly molded versions of the Maritime Self-Defense Force's first DDH, the Haruna-class, and the Yukikaze-class, which was deployed in multiple units.
A series that lets you easily collect and assemble “Maritime Self-Defense Force vessels” protecting Japan's territory and territorial waters, surrounded by sea on all sides.
The molded color mimics the gray of MSDF vessels, and the design minimizes parts count for easy assembly.
Set contents match the fleet composition, which changes annually. Ship numbers and markings adorning the vessels are precisely reproduced with included decals.
This product features eight ships belonging to the 4th Escort Group, based on the 1998 fleet composition.
It includes one Haruna-class, one Kongo-class, one Tachikaze-class, and five Hatsuyuki-class ships.
Two sea surface plates (blue molded color) are included as display areas.
Land (green) is included as a display scenery.
The included decals feature markings that decorate the waterline, such as ship numbers and old-style landing signs.
The DDG-176 Chokai includes a dedicated forward combat passageway (decal) and helicopter deck frame lines.
