Micro Ace “1/72 Scale Warplane Series Imperial Japanese Navy Bomber D4Y2 Comet Carrier-Based Dive Bomber” plastic model kit.
The windshield front was changed from flat to V-shaped, adding 15mm thick bulletproof glass, along with minor modifications to various parts.
Performance included a maximum speed of 580km/h and a range of 1463km-3604km, far exceeding the standards of carrier-based bombers at the time.
Armament consisted of two fixed 7.7mm machine guns, one rear-mounted rotating 7.7mm machine gun, one 250-500kg bomb (in the fuselage), and two 30kg bombs (under the wings). It was formally adopted in October 1944.
